This is some really nice work. I'm gonna be a smartass though and say...I think her thumbs are dislocated ;-P

DidiEsmeralda responds:

Thanks, I'll check that out :)

To me, the strangest thing about this is why is he wearing socks?

WooleyWorld responds:

.... bruh I can't draw toes for shit.

This isn't really a review. I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to Nightvale. I can't believe I'd never heard of it before. BUT! I do really like this picture. Thanks again :-)

GrossGirl responds:

aaww duude! You have SO much to catch up on too! I like to listen to it while I draw. Have fun!

This is so good. The background reminds me of some of Pete Alvarado's work on an old Looney Tunes cartoon called "Scaredy Cat" or something by Maurice Noble (who also worked on WB's cartoons). And the way you draw hands is fantastic. Very expressive. I hope this takes 1st place for the halloween2015 comp. It's definitely my favourite.

ddraw responds:

Thanks so so much! I really appreciate your review!

This is a great piece. I love the heat coming out of the chest, it's such a nice attention to detail that a lot of people wouldn't think to include. I disagree with Nonez's review, but you gotta take the good with the bad. Can't please everybody unfortunately. My only criticism is that the hands look a little masculine. Unless this is a guy with a penchant for eye liner? ;-P It's amazing that this is your first finished digital piece. Fantastic work.

I love this. The background is very Maurice Noble. Reminds me a lot of the old Looney Tunes, particularly shorts like "Duck Amuck" and "Ali Baba Bunny". It's just beautiful. I would love to hang this on my wall.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it and it makes me happy that it reminds you of some of the classics :)

Very nice work. I love the attention to detail with the purple lighting. The only thing that confuses me are the feathers. Don't get me wrong, they look cool, and I don't want to tell you how to design your own characters, it just confuses me as to why a rabbitmancer would wear feathers instead of maybe some lucky rabbits feet around his neck or hanging from his ears. I still love it though. The carrots are a nice touch. :-)

McGil responds:

Yeah, is confusing, but i put the feathers for imitate the bunny ears. if you look to his left hand he has a rabbit leg in his wrist. Thx for your words

Very nice. There's just one thing that confuses me, maybe it's explained somewhere in your other work (referring to "More information coming VERY soon, stay tuned!"). Anyway, the fellow in the foreground with the firearm. How is he supposed to get his goggles down with that dome over his head (unless they're super cool futuristic-y auto goggles)? And how come his fingers are exposed when the others (analysts?) are completely covered? I still like it, just that guy. What's his story?

YakovlevArt responds:

Hahahaha! This is how I know I designed them badly because of this exact question right here.
They are automatic, he has a button or a command and they automatically slide down and turn on.

Lovely picture. He looks like an aviator that's had his airplanes repossessed, but is still determined to keep flying. I especially like the expression on his face. It's as if, determined or not, now that it's too late to rethink his latest attempt at flight, you've captured him at the exact moment he realised what a silly idea this was. Great work. :-)

TerminalMontage responds:

Thank you :)!

Love the designs here. Especially the expression of the zombie robot on the far left. It makes me think he's observing the others, thinking "Oh, is that how I'm supposed to behave now that I'm a zombie robot? Well, alright then." Really looking forward to 2001: A Robot Odyssey. Well done, mate.

AmericanRobot responds:

That's a really heartening comment man! I try to make my characters as expressive as possible. I feel it allows the viewer to apply some input into the characters and immerse them deeper into the cartoon world.
